Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 163B(1)(a) of the Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Langkawi)

(Amendment) Order 2016.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 1 November 2016.

Amendment of paragraph 2 2.

The Customs Duties (Langkawi) Order 1986 [P.U. (A) 489/1986] is amended in paragraph 2 by substituting for the words “and ikan bilis” the words “, anchovies, intoxicating liquors, tobacco products and cigarettes”.
