  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 80(1) of the Stamp Act 1949 [Act 378], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Stamp Duty (Exemption) (No. 2) 2017

(Amendment) Order 2020.

This Order comes into operation on 1 January 2021.

Amendment of paragraph 2 2.

Stamp Duty (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2017 [P.U. (A) 408/2017] is amended in paragraph 2—

(a)

in subparagraph (1), by deleting the words “structured warrant or”;

the words “2025”; and

(c)

by substituting for subparagraph (3) the following subparagraph:

“(3)

For the purposes of this paragraph, “exchanged-traded fund”

has the meaning assigned to it in the guidelines relating to exchange-traded fund issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia under the

Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.”.
