Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 69(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the National Speed Limit (Amendment)

Order 2023.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 21 November 2023.

Amendment of Schedule 2.

The National Speed Limit Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 18/1989] is amended in the Schedule, in item 19—

(a)

in subitem (a), by deleting the word “and” at the end of the subitem;

(b)

in subitem (b), by substituting for the full stop at the end of the subitem the words “; and”;

(c)

by inserting after subitem (b) the following subitem:
