- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 53(1) Akta Industri Biobahan Api Malaysia 2007 [Akta 666], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Menteri mengecualikan penyelidik di mana-mana institusi pendidikan tinggi atau institusi penyelidikan di Malaysia daripada pemakaian perenggan 5(1)(a), (b),
(c)
, (f), (g), (h) dan (i) Akta berkenaan dengan aktiviti yang berhubungan dengan biobahan api.
Syarat pengecualian
Seksyen 3
Pengecualian di bawah perenggan 2 adalah tertakluk pada syarat yang berikut:
(a)
aktiviti yang berhubungan dengan biobahan api itu hendaklah bagi tujuan penyelidikan sahaja; dan
(b)
kuantiti biobahan api yang digunakan dalam menjalankan aktiviti yang berhubungan dengan biobahan api itu tidak boleh melebihi 200 liter.

MALAYSIAN BIOFUEL INDUSTRY (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2024
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 53(1) of the Malaysian Biofuel Industry Act 2007 [Act 666], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Malaysian Biofuel Industry (Exemption)
Order 2024.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 15 May 2024.
Exemption 2.
The Minister exempts a researcher in any higher educational institution or research institution in Malaysia from the application of paragraphs 5(1)(a), (b), (c),
(f)
, (g), (h) and (i) of the Act in respect of activities relating to biofuel.
Condition of exemption
Seksyen 3
The exemption under paragraph 2 is subject to the following conditions:
(a)
the activities relating to biofuel shall be for the purposes of research only; and
(b)
the quantity of biofuel used in the activities relating to biofuel shall not exceed 200 litres.
