PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberi oleh seksyen 5 Akta Industri Perkhidmatan Air 2006 [Akta 655], Menteri, atas syor Suruhanjaya, membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Seksyen 1

(1)

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Industri Perkhidmatan Air

(Pelesenan) (Pengecualian) 2012.

(2)

Perintah ini disifatkan telah berkuat kuasa pada 19 Mac 2012 dan terus berkuat kuasa hingga 31 Mei 2012.

Pengecualian

Seksyen 2

Salcon Engineering Berhad dikecualikan daripada kehendak pelesenan di bawah seksyen 4 Akta bagi menyediakan perkhidmatan bekalan air di Loji Rawatan Air Sungai

Labu, Selangor.

Seksyen 3

Takat pengecualian

Engineering Berhad hendaklah mematuhi kewajipan dan obligasi pemegang lesen individu seolah-olah ia pemegang lesen individu di bawah Akta ini.

WATER SERVICES INDUSTRY ACT 2006

WATER SERVICES INDUSTRY (LICENSING) (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2012

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Water Services Industry Act 2006 [Act 655], the Minister, upon the recommendation of the Commission, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Water Services Industry (Licencing)

(Exemption) Order 2012.

(2)

This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 19 March 2012 and continue to be in operation until 31 May 2012.

Exemption 2.

Salcon Engineering Berhad is exempted from the licensing requirement under section 4 of the Act to provide water supply services at the Sungai Labu Water

Treatment Plant, Selangor.

Extent of Exemption 3.

Notwithstanding the exemption granted under paragraph 2, Salcon Engineering

Berhad shall comply with the duties and obligations of an individual licensee as if it is an individual licensee under the Act.
