daripada pemakaian subseksyen 24A(3) Akta berhubung dengan permohonan bagi pembaharuan pendaftarannya sebagai suatu institusi pendidikan tinggi swasta yang telah habis tempoh pada 1 Mei 2019.

Pengecualian di bawah subperenggan (1) adalah tertakluk kepada syarat bahawa Asia College of Exercise and Sport Medicine (ACESM) mengemukakan permohonan bagi pembaharuan pendaftaran dalam tempoh satu tahun dari 1 Mei 2019.

(EXEMPTION TO ASIA COLLEGE OF EXERCISE AND SPORT MEDICINE (ACESM))

Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 92(1) of the Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 [Act 555], the Minister makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Private Higher Educational Institutions (Exemption to Asia College of Exercise and Sport Medicine (ACESM)) Order 2020. Exemption 2.

Subject to subparagraph (2) the Minister exempts Asia College of Exercise and Sport Medicine (ACESM) (Certificate of Registration Number: DK301(B)) from the application of subsection 24A(3) of the Act in relation to the application for renewal of its registration as a private higher educational institution which has expired on 1 May 2019.
(2)
The exemption under subparagraph (1) is subject to the condition that
Asia College of Exercise and Sport Medicine (ACESM) submits the application for renewal of registration within one year from 1 May 2019.
