Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 198 of the Insurance Act 1996 [Act 553], the Minister, after having considered that the matters to be exempted are consistent with the purposes of the Act and are in the interest of the public, makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Insurance (Exemption) Order 2012. Exemption from paragraph 71(1)(a) of the Act 2.

ING Insurance Berhad, a licensed insurer under the Act having its registered office at Menara ING, 84, Jalan Raja Chulan, 50927 Kuala Lumpur is exempted from paragraph 71(1)(a) of the Act relating to the appointment by it of Bruce Murray

Hodges (Passport Number: BA723733) as the chief executive officer and executive director of ING Insurance Berhad.

ING Management Holdings (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the controller of ING

Insurance Berhad having its registered office at ING Management Holdings (Malaysia)

Sdn Bhd, Menara ING, 84, Jalan Raja Chulan, 50927 Kuala Lumpur is exempted from paragraph 71(1)(a) of the Act relating to the appointment by it of Bruce Murray Hodges
