FEDERAL ROADS (WEST MALAYSIA) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2023
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Johore, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)
(Amendment) Order 2023.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 15 February 2023.
Amendment of First Schedule 2.
The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989]
is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of “Negeri Johor Darul Takzim”—
(a)
by substituting for item 1 the following item:
“1.
(Route 1): Johor Bahru-Gemas Road
Starting from

Bahru at coordinates
