Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Johore, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 5) Order 2018.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 31 July 2018.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading “Negeri Johor Darul Takzim”—

(a)

by inserting after item 35 the following items:

(Route 38): Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway (EDL), Johor Bahru

Starting from Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex at coordinates N 1.465364, E 103.768711 and ending at Route 3

Johor Bahru-Endau Road at coordinates N 1.523621, E 103.762049

within boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 16:
