FEDERAL ROADS (WEST MALAYSIA) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 6) ORDER 2012

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Johor, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 6) Order 2012.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 12 September 2012.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of “Negeri Johor Darul Ta’zim”―

(a)

by inserting after item 33 the following item:

“(34). (Route 52): Sultan Iskandar Highway

From Tun Razak Road Interchange – Skudai Road at coordinates

North (N) 238215.033, East (E) 317641.223 through J106 Sungai

Danga Road/Pesiaran Perling Road and ending at Nusajaya at coordinates North (N) -68171.341, East (E) 6061.311 as shown on the Map 11: Sultan Iskandar Highway, State of Johor.

A distance of 14.5 km.”; and

(b)

by inserting after the “MAP 10: FEDERAL ROADS OF NEGERI JOHOR” the following map:

“MAP 11: SULTAN ISKANDAR HIGHWAY, STATE OF JOHOR

”.
