Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Terengganu, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 6) Order 2023.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 31 May 2023.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of Negeri Terengganu Darul Iman—

(a)

by substituting for item 28 the following item:

“28.

(Route 3): Tok Adis-Durian Burung Bypass Road

Starting from the junction of Route 3, Kuantan–Kuala Terengganu

Road at coordinates N 5.285142, E 103.168850 and ending at coordinates N 5.307602, E 103.109870 including its link roads within boundaries of right of way as shown on

MAP 14: TOK ADIS–DURIAN BURUNG BYPASS ROAD (a distance of 8.188 km).”; and

(b)

by substituting for MAP 14 : TOK ADIS–DURIAN BURUNG BYPASS ROAD the following map:
