Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Terengganu, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 7) Order 2012.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 5 October 2012.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of “Negeri Terengganu Darul Iman”-

(a)

by substituting for item 28 the following items:

“28. KM 303.395 to Kg. Chabang Road Junction, Dungun, East Coast

Expressway Phase 2

From KM 303.395 (at coordinates N 249377.2218, E 136811.5933

of the Terengganu State Cassini Grid) up to KM 2.903 at

Kg. Chabang Road Junction (at coordinates N 257350.5920,

E 147997.3780 of the Terengganu State Cassini Grid).

A distance of 21.432 km.”; and

by substituting for MAP 12: FEDERAL ROADS OF NEGERI TERENGGANU the following map:
