FEDERAL ROADS (SARAWAK) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 4) ORDER 2024
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Sarawak, makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Sarawak) (Amendment) (No. 4) Order 2024. Amendment of First Schedule 2. The Federal Roads (Sarawak) Order 1996 [P.U. (A) 551/1996], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule, under the heading PAN BORNEO HIGHWAY, by inserting after item (jl) the following item: “(jm) (Route 1): Alam Bumi Farm–Ladang Tiga Junction Starting at coordinates N 3.592656, E 113.666455 and ending at coordinates N 3.868197, E 113.885248 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP OF ALAM BUMI FARM– LADANG TIGA JUNCTION (a distance of 42.420 km).”. Amendment of Third Schedule 3. The principal Order is amended in the Third Schedule by inserting after MAP OF SEMATAN-SUNGAI KAYAN ULU BRIDGE the following map: P.U.(A) 145 5 “MAP OF ALAM BUMI FARM–LADANG TIGA JUNCTION Made 30 May 2024 [KKR.100-1/2/23; PN(PU2)391/JLD.49] DATO SRI ALEXANDER NANTA LINGGI Minister of Works [To be laid before the Dewan Rakyat pursuant to section 4 of the Federal Roads Act 1959] ”.
