Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Sarawak, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Sarawak) (Amendment)

(No. 6) Order 2024.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 30 August 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (Sarawak) Order 1996 [P.U. (A) 551/1991], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule, under the heading of PAN BORNEO HIGHWAY, by inserting after item (jn)

the following item:

(Route 1): Sungai Kayan Ulu Bridge-Sungai Moyan Bridge
