FEDERAL ROADS (SARAWAK) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 8) ORDER 2024
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Sarawak, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Sarawak)
(Amendment) (No. 8) Order 2024.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 24 December 2024.
Amendment of First Schedule 2.
The Federal Roads (Sarawak) Order 1996 [P.U. (A) 551/1991], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of PAN BORNEO HIGHWAY, by inserting after item (jp)
the following item:
“(jq)
(Route 1): Sungai Arip Bridge-Tatau Town
Starting at coordinates N 2.727114, E 112.668613 and ending at coordinates N 2.886895, E 112.855695 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on
MAP OF SUNGAI ARIP BRIDGE-TATAU TOWN (a distance of 30.097 km).”.
Amendment of Third Schedule 3.
The principal Order is amended in the Third Schedule by inserting after
MAP OF PANTU JUNCTION-SUNGAI ENTULANG BRIDGE the following map:
