PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 10(1) Akta Jaminan Pinjaman (Pertubuhan Perbadanan) 1965 [Akta 96], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

LOANS GUARANTEE (BODIES CORPORATE) (REMISSION OF TAX DAN STAMP DUTY)

(NO. 3) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2020

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 10(1) of the Loans Guarantee (Bodies Corporate) Act 1965 [Act 96], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Loans Guarantee (Bodies Corporate)

(Remission of Tax and Stamp Duty) (No. 3) (Amendment) Order 2020.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 30 September 2020.

Amendment of paragraph 2 2.

The Loans Guarantee (Bodies Corporate) (Remission of Tax and Stamp Duty)

(No. 3) Order 2016 [P.U. (A) 199/2016], which is referred to as the “principal Order”

in this Order, is amended in paragraph 2—

(a)

by deleting subparagraph (e);

(b)

in subparagraph (h), by inserting after the semicolon at the end of the subparagraph the word “or”; and

(c)

by deleting subparagraph (i).

Amendment of paragraph 4 3.

Paragraph 4 of the principal Order is amended—

(a)

in subparagraph (c), by inserting after the semicolon at the end of the subparagraph the word “and”;

(b)

by deleting subparagraph (d); and

in subparagraph (e)—

(i)

by substituting for the words “the RC-i Facility and the Credit Facilities”

the words “and the RC-i Facility”; and

(ii)

in the proviso—

(A)

by inserting after the words “Conventional Medium Term Notes,”

the word “and”;

(B)

by deleting the words “and the outstanding principal amount under the Credit Facilities”; and

(C)

by substituting for the words “twenty-five billion ringgit

(RM25,000,000,000.00)”

the words

“fifty billion ringgit

(RM50,000,000,000.00)”.
