PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 25 Akta Duti Timbal Balas dan Anti-Lambakan 1993 [Akta 504] dan subseksyen 11(1) Akta Kastam 1967 [Akta 235], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

(No. 3) 2020 (Pindaan) 2023.

Kecuali bagi subsubperenggan 3(a), Perintah ini berkuat kuasa bagi tempoh mulai 27 Jun 2023 hingga 11 Disember 2025.

Subsubperenggan 3(a) disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Jun 2022

CUSTOMS (ANTI-DUMPING DUTIES) (NO. 3) 2020 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2023

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Countervailing and Anti-Dumping Duties Act 1993 [Act 504] and subsection 11(1) of the Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Customs (Anti-Dumping Duties)

(No. 3) 2020 (Amendment) Order 2023.

(2)

Except for subsubparagraph 3(a), this Order has effect for the period from 27 June 2023 to 11 December 2025.

(3)

Subsubparagraph 3(a) is deemed to have come into operation on 1 June 2022 and shall continue to be in operation until 11 December 2025.

Amendment of paragraph 2 2.

The Customs (Anti-Dumping Duties) (No. 3) Order 2020 [P.U. (A) 348/2020], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in paragraph 2

by substituting for subparagraph (2) the following subparagraph:

“(2)

Notwithstanding subparagraph 2(1), anti-dumping duties shall not be imposed on the goods specified in columns (1) and (2) of the Schedule exported from

The People’s Republic of China by producer or exporter Yieh Phui (China)

Technomaterial Co., Ltd. and The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam by producer or exporter Southern Steel Sheet Co., Ltd. and Tan Phuoc Khanh Trading &

Manufacturing Coil Steel JSC.”.

Amendment of Schedule 3.

The Schedule to the Principal Order is amended―

(a)

in column (1)―

(i)

by substituting for the words “7212.50.24 90” the words

“7212.50.24 00”; and

(ii)

by substituting for the words “7212.50.29 10” and “7212.50.29 90”

the words “7212.50.29 00”; and

(b)

in column (4), in relation to The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam―

(i)

by deleting the words “Tan Phuoc Khanh Trading & Manufacturing

Coil Steel JSC” and the particulars relating to it in column (5); and

(ii)

by substituting for the words “Others (except Southern Steel

Sheet Co., Ltd.)” the words “Others (except Southern Steel

Sheet Co., Ltd. and Tan Phuoc Khanh Trading & Manufacturing Coil
