CUSTOMS (PROHIBITION OF EXPORTS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2024
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 31(1) of the Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Customs (Prohibition of Exports)
(Amendment) Order 2024.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 1 May 2024.
Amendment of Second Schedule 2.
The Customs (Prohibition of Exports) Order 2023 [P.U. (A) 122/2023], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the Second Schedule—
(a)
in relation to item 13, in column (5), by substituting for the words
“Ministry of International Trade and Industry” the words “Ministry of
Investment, Trade and Industry”;
(b)
in relation to item 14, in column (5), by substituting for the words
“Ministry of International Trade and Industry” the words “Ministry of
Investment, Trade and Industry”; and
(c)
by substituting for item 15 and the particulars relating to it the following item and particulars:
