Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Control of Supplies Act 1961 [Act 122], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Control of Supplies (Controlled Articles)

(No. 6) Order 2021.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 1 December 2021.

Interpretation 2.

For the purposes of this Order, “antigen rapid test kit (self-testing)”

means a self-testing kit used for the detection of antigen that causes

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) by using sample of oral fluid or nasal swab.

Controlled article 3.

Antigen rapid test kit (self-testing) is declared to be a controlled article.
