CONTROL OF SUPPLIES (EXEMPTION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2021

  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 5A of the Control of Supplies Act 1961 [Act 122], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Control of Supplies (Exemption)

(Amendment) Order 2021.

This Order comes into operation on 15 October 2021.

Amendment of paragraph 5 2.

The Control of Supplies (Exemption) Order 1991 [P.U. (A) 77/1991], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended by substituting for paragraph 5 the following paragraph:

“Exemption from regulation 18

of the

Supplies

Regulations 1974.

Any person who in the course of trade or business purchases any scheduled article specified in column (1) of the

Third Schedule from the seller or supplier specified in column (2) for the use specified in column (3) is exempted from the application of regulation 18 of the Control of Supplies

Regulations 1974.”.

Substitution of Third Schedule 3.

The principal Order is amended by substituting for the Third Schedule the following schedule:
