PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh Perkara 119A Perlembagaan Persekutuan, Yang di-Pertuan Agong, dengan persetujuan Majlis Raja-Raja, membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Kelayakan Pemilih

(Pengecualian) 2023.

Perintah ini disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 15 Disember 2021.

Seksyen 2

Yang di-Pertuan Agong mengecualikan orang-orang berikut daripada pemakaian

Perkara 119 Perlembagaan Persekutuan dan peraturan 12 Peraturan-Peraturan

Pilihan Raya (Pendaftaran Pemilih) 2002 [P.U. (A) 293/2002]:

(a)

semua Raja dan Yang di-Pertua Negeri, dan Isteri mereka;

(b)

bakal raja, waris ganti dan waris lain Raja, tidak kira dengan gelaran apa jua dia dikenali, sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Pertama;

(c)

isteri kepada bakal raja, waris ganti dan waris lain Raja yang disebut dalam perenggan (b); dan

(d)

orang lain sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kedua.

QUALIFICATIONS OF ELECTORS (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2023

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by Article 119A of the Federal Constitution, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, with the consent of the Conference of Rulers, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Qualifications of Electors (Exemption)

Order 2023.

(2)

This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 15 December 2021.

Exemption 2.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong exempts the following persons from the application of

Article 119

of the

Federal

Constitution and regulation 12

of the

Elections (Registration of Electors) Regulations 2002 [P.U. (A) 293/2002]:

(a)

all Rulers and Yang di-Pertua-Yang di-Pertua Negeri, and their Consorts;

(b)

the heir apparent, heir presumptive and other heirs of a Ruler, by whatever style known, as specified in the First Schedule;

(c)

consorts of the heir apparent, heir presumptive and other heirs of a Ruler referred to in paragraph (b); and

(d)

other persons as specified in the Second Schedule.
