PERINTAH KILANG DAN JENTERA (PENGECUALIAN KEPADA ETHYLENE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD., KERTEH, TERENGGANU) 2012

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Kilang dan Jentera (Pengecualian kepada Ethylene Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Kerteh, Terengganu) 2012.

Semua bejana tekanan tidak berapi yang didaftarkan dengan Ketua Pemeriksa, dengan nombor pendaftaran dan perihalan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) dan (2)

Jadual, atas nama Ethylene Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Kerteh, Terengganu yang telah diberikan perakuan kelayakan, dikecualikan daripada persediaan yang dikehendaki di bawah perenggan 17(b) Peraturan-Peraturan (Pemberitahu, Perakuan Kelayakan dan

Pemeriksaan) Kilang dan Jentera 1970 [P.U. (A) 43/1970] bagi pemeriksaan ulangan yang berikutnya selepas habis tempoh perakuan kelayakan itu pada 23 Jun 2012.

Pengecualian di bawah perenggan 2 tertakluk kepada syarat bahawa semua bejana tekanan tidak berapi yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual menjalani pemeriksaan luaran dan ujian tanpa musnah dan Pemeriksa berpuas hati dengan keputusan pemeriksaan dan ujian itu.

FACTORIES AND MACHINERY ACT 1967

FACTORIES AND MACHINERY (EXEMPTION TO ETHYLENE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD.,

KERTEH, TERENGGANU) ORDER 2012

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 55(3) of the Factories and Machinery

Act 1967 [Act 139], the Minister makes the following order:

Citation 1.

This order may be cited as the Factories and Machinery (Exemption To

Ethylene Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Kerteh, Terengganu) Order 2012.

Exemption 2.

All unfired pressure vessels registered with the Chief Inspector, with the registration number and description as specified in columns (1) and (2) of the Schedule, in the name of Ethylene Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Kerteh, Terengganu which have been issued with certificates of fitness, are exempted from the preparation required under paragraphs 17(b) of the Factories and Machinery (Notification, Certificate of Fitness and

Inspection) Regulations 1970 [P.U. (A) 43/1970] for subsequent regular inspection after the expiry of such certificates of fitness on 23 June 2012.

Condition of exemption 3.

The exemption under paragraph 2 is subject to the conditions that all of the unfired pressure vessels as specified in the Schedule undergo an external inspection and non-destructive tests, and the Inspector is satisfied with the result of such inspection and tests.
