Pemeriksaan) Kilang dan Jentera 1970 [P.U. (A) 43/1970] bagi pemeriksaan ulangan yang berikutnya selepas habis tempoh perakuan kelayakan itu pada 25 Mei 2013.

FACTORIES AND MACHINERY ACT 1967
FACTORIES AND MACHINERY (EXEMPTION TO PETRONAS CHEMICALS ETHYLENE
SDN. BHD., KERTEH, TERENGGANU) ORDER 2013
IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 55(3) of the Factories and Machinery
Act 1967 [Act 139], the Minister makes the following order:
Citation 1.
This order may be cited as the Factories and Machinery (Exemption to
Petronas Chemicals Ethylene Sdn. Bhd., Kerteh, Terengganu) Order 2013.
Exemption 2.
All machinery registered with the Chief Inspector, with the registration numbers and descriptions as specified in columns (1) and (2) of the Schedule, in the name of
Petronas Chemicals Ethylene Sdn. Bhd., Kerteh, Terengganu which have been issued with certificates of fitness, are exempted from the preparation required under paragraph 17(b) of the Factories and Machinery (Notification, Certificate of Fitness and
Inspection) Regulations 1970 [P.U. (A) 43/1970] for subsequent regular inspection after the expiry of such certificates of fitness on 25 May 2013.
Condition of exemption 3.
The exemption under paragraph 2 is subject to the conditions that all of the machinery as specified in the Schedule undergo an external inspection and non-destructive tests, and the Inspector is satisfied with the result of such inspection and tests.
