(EXEMPTION TO SARAWAK MULTIMEDIA AUTHORITY) ORDER 2021

Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 [Act 588], the Minister makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Communications and Multimedia (Licensing) (Exemption to Sarawak Multimedia Authority) Order 2021. Exemption 2. The Minister exempts the Sarawak Multimedia Authority, a body established under the Sarawak Multimedia Authority Ordinance 2017 [Chapter 73], from the application of paragraphs 126(1)(a) and (b) of the Act subject to the condition specified in paragraph 3. Condition of exemption 3. The exemption under paragraph 2 shall not exempt the Sarawak Multimedia Authority from the application of other provisions of the Act.
