ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (DELEGATION OF POWERS)

(INVESTIGATION ON EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL) ORDER 2012

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 49(1) of the Environmental Quality

Act 1974 [Act 127], the Director General makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Environmental Quality (Delegation of

Powers) (Investigation on Erosion and Sediment Control) Order 2012.

Delegation of power 2.

The Director General delegates the powers under sections 31, 37, 38 (except the power to stop, board and search any ship or aircraft) and 38A of the Act in respect of erosion and sediment control of prescribed activity under section 34A of the Act to officers specified in the Schedule.

Any Technician, Assistant Engineer and Engineer of the Department of Irrigation and

Drainage Malaysia.
