MINISTERS OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Ministerial Functions Act 1969 [Act 2], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Ministers of the Federal Government

(Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2023.

(2)

This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 5 April 2023.

Amendment of Schedule 2.

The Ministers of the Federal Government Order 2023 [P.U. (A) 27/2023]

is amended in the Schedule in respect of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry—

(a)

by substituting for the words “Minister of International Trade and Industry” in the “Style and Title/Date of Appointment”

column the words “Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry”;

(b)

by substituting for the words “Deputy Minister of International

Trade and Industry” in the “Style and Title/Date of Appointment”

column the words “Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and

Industry”; and

(c)

by substituting for the words “Ministry of International Trade and Industry” in the “Department/Subject” column the words

“Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry”.
