Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Trade Descriptions Act 2011 [Act 730], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Trade Descriptions (Certification and
Marking of Halal) (No. 2) Order 2026.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 8 May 2026.
Amendment of Second Schedule 2.
The Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Halal) Order 2011
[P.U. (A) 431/2011] is amended in the Second Schedule—
(a)
by inserting after item Uruguay and the particulars relating to it the following item and particulars:
