Archipelago Insurance Limited secara usaha sama dengan

“kapal Malaysia” mempunyai erti yang diberikan kepadanya dalam subseksyen 11(1)

Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 263 of the Financial Services Act 2013 [Act 758], the Minister, on the recommendation of the Bank, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 25 March 2021.
Exemption 2.
(1)
The
Minister exempts
Archipelago
Insurance
Limited
(Licence No. IS2013136), an insurance licensee under the Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act 2010 [Act 704], from the application of paragraph 8(1)(a)
of the Act for the purpose of carrying on insurance business in respect of protection and indemnity insurance for a Malaysian ship of 300 gross tonnage or less for a period of three years.
(2)
In this paragraph—
(a)
“protection and indemnity insurance” means the protection and indemnity insurance offered by Archipelago Insurance Limited in collaboration with the Perlindungan dan Indemniti Malaysia
Sdn. Bhd.; and
(b)
“Malaysian ship” has the meaning assigned to it in subsection 11(1)
of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 [Ord. 70/1952].
