Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 264 Akta Perkhidmatan Kewangan 2013 [Akta 758], Menteri, atas syor Bank, membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Pindaan Jadual 2
Akta Perkhidmatan Kewangan 2013 dipinda dalam Bahagian 1 Jadual 2 dengan memasukkan selepas perenggan (j) perenggan yang berikut:
“(ja) pengeluar wang elektronik yang dikecualikan di bawah
Perintah Perkhidmatan Kewangan (Wang Elektronik Maksud Terhad)
(Pengecualian) 2024 [P.U. (A) 463/2024];
(jb)
pengeluar suatu instrumen pembayaran, yang instrumen pembayaran itu—
(i)
menyimpan dana secara elektronik sebagai tukaran kepada dana yang dibayar kepada pengeluar itu; dan
(ii)
berupaya untuk digunakan sebagai suatu cara untuk membuat pembayaran kepada pengeluar itu sahaja, dalam menjalankan perniagaannya yang mengeluarkan instrumen pembayaran itu;”.

FINANCIAL SERVICES (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 2) ORDER 2024
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 264 of the Financial Services Act 2013 [Act 758], the Minister, on the recommendation of the Bank, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

Schedule 2) Order 2024.

This Order comes into operation on 2 January 2025.
Amendment of Schedule 2 2.
The Financial Services Act 2013 is amended in Part 1 of Schedule 2 by inserting after paragraph (j) the following paragraphs:
“(ja)
an issuer of electronic money exempted under the Financial Services
(Limited
Purpose
Electronic
Money)
(Exemption)
Order 2024
[P.U. (A) 463/2024];
(jb)
an issuer of a payment instrument, of which the payment instrument—
(i)
stores funds electronically in exchange of funds paid to the issuer;
and
(ii)
is able to be used as a means of making payment to the issuer only, in the course of carrying on its business of issuing the payment instrument;”.
