BAHAWASANYA menurut kuasa Fasal (1) Perkara 112D Perlembagaan Persekutuan, pemberian khas yang dibuat untuk Negeri Sarawak yang dinyatakan dalam perenggan (a) Fasal (1) Perkara 112C Perlembagaan Persekutuan hendaklah dikaji semula oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan dan Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak; DAN BAHAWASANYA kajian semula telah dilakukan oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan dan Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak pada 8 April 2023 dan 12 Jun 2023; DAN BAHAWASANYA hasil kajian semula tersebut Kerajaan Persekutuan dan Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak bersetuju bahawa selama tempoh lima tahun mulai 2023 hingga 2027, Kerajaan Persekutuan hendaklah memberikan Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak, berkenaan dengan setiap tahun kewangan tersebut, pemberian lain sebagai menggantikan pemberian yang dibuat di bawah Perentah (Ulangkaji Pertama) Pemberian Khas Sarawak, 1969 [P.U. Preamble

WHEREAS by virtue of Clause (1) of Article 112D of the Federal Constitution, the special grant made to the State of Sarawak as specified in paragraph (a) Clause (1) of Article 112C of the Federal Constitution shall be reviewed by the Governments of the Federation and the State of Sarawak; AND WHEREAS the review was held by the Governments of the Federation and the State of Sarawak on 8 April 2023 and 12 June 2023; AND

WHEREAS the said review has resulted in the Governments of the Federation and the State of Sarawak agreeing that for the period of five years with effect from 2023 to 2027, the Government of the Federation shall make to the Government of the State of Sarawak, in respect of each financial year, another grant instead of the grant made under the Sarawak Special Grants (First Review) Order, 1969 [P.U. (A) 403/1969]; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 112D of the Federal Constitution, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Federal Constitution (Review of Special Grant under Article 112D) (State of Sarawak) Order 2023. Special grant 2. For a period of five years with effect from 1 January 2023, the Government of the Federation shall make to the State of Sarawak, in respect of the financial year 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027, grants in the amount of RM300 million, RM306 million, RM312 million, RM318 million and RM325 million respectively. 5 Revocation 3. The Sarawak Special Grants (First Review) Order, 1969 [P.U. (A) 403/1969] is revoked.
