dan dikecualikan daripada pengiktirafan selepas 31 Disember 2011)” dalam ruang ketiga dengan butiran “Doctor of Medicine in General Medicine (Diiktiraf pada 7 Ogos 2001 dan tidak lagi diiktiraf selepas 29 Mac 2013)”.

Sebelum tarikh Perintah ini mula berkuat kuasa, mana-mana orang yang mempunyai kelulusan daripada Crimea State Medical University, Ukraine yang—

(a)

masih belum membuat apa-apa permohonan untuk didaftarkan sementara di bawah perenggan 12(1)(a) Akta, layak membuat permohonan untuk didaftarkan sementara di bawah perenggan itu; atau

(b)

telah membuat permohonan untuk didaftarkan sementara di bawah perenggan 12(1)(a) Akta dan masih belum selesai, permohonan itu masih boleh terus diuruskan oleh Majlis, seolah-olah kelulusan yang diberikan oleh institusi itu masih diiktiraf.

MEDICAL (AMENDMENT OF SECOND SCHEDULE) ORDER 2013

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 12(2) of the Medical Act 1971 [Act 50], the Minister, after consulting the Council, makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Medical (Amendment of Second Schedule) Order 2013. Amendment of Second Schedule 2. The Medical Act 1971 is amended in the Second Schedule in relation to the country “Ukraine” in the first column and the item “Crimea State Medical University” in the second column, by substituting for the item “Doctor of Medicine in General Medicine (Recognised on 7 August 2001 and excluded from recognition after 31 December 2011)” in the third column, the item “Doctor of Medicine in General Medicine (Recognised on 7 August 2001 and no longer recognised from 29 March 2013)”. Savings and transitional 3. Before the coming into operation of this Order, any person holding the qualifications from Crimea State Medical University, Ukraine who—

(a)

has not made an application for provisional registration under paragraph 12(1)(a) of the Act, is entitled to be provisionally registered under that paragraph; or

has made an application for provisional registration under paragraph 12

of the Act and pending before the Council, the application shall continue to be dealt with by the Council, as if the qualification granted by the institution is still recognised.
