PESTICIDES (EXEMPTION) (NO. 5) ORDER 2020

Suggest a correction
  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 59 of the Pesticides Act 1974 [Act 149], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Pesticides (Exemption) (No. 5)

This Order comes into operation on 1 December 2020.

Exemption 2.

The Minister exempts TOMOE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. (Company No. 1164031-V)

from the prohibition under paragraph 13(1)(b) of the Act for the purpose of importing a pesticide containing ethylene oxide as its active ingredient.

Condition of exemption 3.

The exemption under paragraph 2 is subject to the condition that the imported pesticide shall be used solely for the sterilization of medical devices.
