PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 2(2) Akta Umur Persaraan Minimum 2012 [Akta 753], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Umur Persaraan Minimum

(Pindaan Jadual) 2016.

Seksyen 2

Pindaan Jadual

(a)

dalam subperenggan (h), dengan memotong perkataan “dan” di hujung subperenggan itu; dan

(b)

dengan memasukkan selepas subperenggan (h) subperenggan yang berikut:

“(ha) seseorang yang diambil kerja untuk suatu kontrak perkhidmatan bertempoh tetap, termasuk apa-apa pelanjutan, yang melebihi dua puluh empat bulan tetapi tidak melebihi enam puluh bulan dengan gaji pokok sebanyak dua puluh ribu ringgit sebulan dan ke atas; dan”.

MINIMUM RETIREMENT AGE (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE) ORDER 2016

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 2(2) of the Minimum Retirement Age Act 2012 [Act 753], the Minister makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Minimum Retirement Age (Amendment of Schedule) Order 2016. Amendment of Schedule 2. The Schedule to the Act is amended in paragraph 1—

(a)

in subparagraph (h), by deleting the word “and” at the end of the subparagraph; and

(b)

by inserting after subparagraph (h) the following subparagraph:

“(ha) a person who is employed on a fixed term contract of service, inclusive of any extension, of more than twenty four months but not more than sixty months with basic wages of twenty thousand ringgit per month and above; and”.
