- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 3 Akta Penjara 1995 [Akta 537], Menteri mengisytiharkan semua bangunan yang terletak di atas Lot PT 269, Blok 27, Kilometer 17, Bintulu/Miri Road, Bintulu, Mukim Kemena, Daerah Bintulu, Sarawak dan yang dinamakan sebagai “Pusat Koreksional Bintulu, Sarawak”, sebagai suatu penjara bagi maksud Akta bagi pemenjaraan atau penahanan orang dalam jagaan yang sah mulai 1 Julai 2013. Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Prison Act 1995 [Act 537], the Minister declares all buildings situated on Lot PT 269, Blok 27, Kilometer 17, Bintulu/Miri Road, Bintulu, Mukim Kemena, Daerah Bintulu, Sarawak and designated as “Pusat Koreksional Bintulu, Sarawak”, to be a prison for the purposes of the Act for the imprisonment or detention of persons lawfully in custody with effect from 1 July 2013.
