PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 5 Ordinan Perkapalan Saudagar 1952 [Ordinan 70/1952], Menteri mengisytiharkan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan sebagai suatu pelabuhan dalam erti Ordinan. Pindaan kepada Pemberitahuan Undang-Undang No. 73 tahun 1953 2. Bagi maksud menentukan had pelabuhan, Pemberitahuan Undang-Undang No. 73 tahun 1953 [L.N. 73/1953] dipinda dalam Jadual Pertama dengan memasukkan selepas butiran 88 butiran yang berikut:

DECLARATION UNDER SECTION 5 OF THE MERCHANT SHIPPING ORDINANCE 1952

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 [Ordinance 70/1952], the Minister declares the Federal Territory of Labuan as a port within the meaning of the Ordinance. Amendment of Legal Notification No.73 of 1953 2. For the purpose of defining the port limit, the Legal Notification No. 73 of 1953 [L.N. 73/1953] is amended in the First Schedule by inserting after item 88 the following item:
