PERWAKILAN KUASA DI BAWAH SEKSYEN 5

kuasa yang diwakilkan hanya boleh dijalankan berkenaan dengan amaun hasil atau hutang yang tidak boleh didapatkan kembali yang tidak lebih daripada dua puluh lima ribu ringgit dalam mana-mana satu akaun;

kuasa yang diwakilkan tidak boleh diwakilkan semula kepada mana-mana pegawai lain;

tiada apa-apa amaun hasil atau hutang boleh ditinggalkan selagi ada kemungkinan, tidak kira bagaimana tipis sekalipun, boleh mendapat apa-apa pembayaran;

tatacara penilaian yang dinyatakan dalam Lampiran L Arahan

Perbendaharaan No. 328(a) hendaklah diikuti dengan betul;

tidak ada soal pencurian, fraud atau kecuaian pegawai awam berhubung dengan amaun hasil atau hutang yang tidak boleh didapatkan kembali yang akan ditinggalkan;

suatu laporan mengenai amaun hasil atau hutang yang ditinggalkan hendaklah dihantar kepada Perbendaharaan dengan salinan kepada

Ketua Audit Negara atau wakil tempatannya; dan

Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha Kanan, Jabatan Perdana Menteri hendaklah mematuhi apa-apa arahan yang dikeluarkan oleh Perbendaharaan dari semasa ke semasa.

Permulaan kuat kuasa 2.

Perwakilan kuasa ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 26 Julai 2013.

DELEGATION OF POWERS UNDER SECTION 5

the delegated powers shall only be exercised in respect of irrecoverable amounts of revenue or debts which do not exceed twenty five thousand ringgit in any one account;

the delegated powers shall not be re-delegated to any other officer;

no amounts of revenue or debts shall be abandoned so long as there is possibility, however remote, of obtaining some payment;

the evaluation procedure specified in Appendix L of the Treasury

Instruction No. 328(a) shall be strictly followed;

there is no question of theft, fraud or negligence of a public officer in relation to the irrecoverable amounts of revenue or debts to be abandoned;

a report on the abandoned amounts of revenue or debts shall be sent to the Treasury with a copy to the Auditor General or his local representative; and

the Senior Deputy Secretary General of the Prime Minister’s Department shall comply with such instructions as may be issued by the Treasury from time to time.

Commencement 2.

This delegation of power comes into operation on 26 July 2013.
