- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh perenggan 19A Jadual Pertama kepada Akta Ahli Parlimen (Saraan) 1980, Yang di-Pertuan Agong membuat perintah yang berikut:
Seksyen 2
Jadual Pertama kepada Akta Ahli Parlimen (Saraan) 1980 adalah dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas perenggan 4 perenggan yang berikut:

Ganjaran yang kena dibayar di bawah perenggan ini hendaklah atas asas gaji sehabis tinggi yang diterima oleh dan tempoh perkhidmatan yang boleh dimasukira bagi Anggota Pentadbiran yang ialah Ahli Dewan Rakyat pada masa terbubarnya Parlimen.

Apa-apa ganjaran yang telah dibayar kepada Anggota Pentadbiran yang ialah Ahli Dewan Rakyat apabila terbubarnya Parlimen hendaklah dipotong daripada ganjaran yang kena dibayar di bawah perenggan ini.".

Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 19A of the First Schedule to the Members of Parliament (Remuneration) Act 1980, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following order:
Seksyen 1
This order may be cited as the Members of Parliament (Remuneration) (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 1996 and shall be deemed to have come into force on 5 April 1995.
Seksyen 2
The First Schedule to the Members of Parliament (Remuneration) Act 1980 is amended by inserting after paragraph 4 the following paragraph:
"Gratuity for certain members of the Administration upon dissolution of Parliament.
Seksyen 4A
(2)
The gratuity payable under this paragraph shall be based on the highest drawn salary and the period of reckonable service of the Member of the Administration who is a Member of the House of Representatives at the time of dissolution of Parliament.
(3)
Any gratuity that had been paid to the Member of the Administration who is a Member of the House of Representatives upon dissolution of Parliament shall be deducted from the gratuity that falls due to be paid under this paragraph.".
