ROAD TRANSPORT (PROHIBITION OF USE OF ROAD)

(CITY OF KUALA LUMPUR) ORDER 2012

WHEREAS by P.U. (B) 363 published on 2 November 2012, notice was given of the intention to make an order under subsections 70(1) and (2) of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333]:

AND WHEREAS no objection was received by the Dato Bandar Kuala Lumpur against the making of such order:

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 70(1) of the Act, the Dato Bandar Kuala Lumpur, after consultation with the Director General for

Road Transport, and after taking into consideration the matters referred to in subsection 70(2) of the Act, makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Road Transport (Prohibition of Use of

Road) (City of Kuala Lumpur) Order 2012.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 17 December 2012.

Prohibition 2.

The driving of all vehicles except the vehicles as specified in column (3) of the

First Schedule, on that part of the road as specified in column (1) of the First Schedule, as shown on the map in the Second Schedule, otherwise than in the directions specified in column (2) of the First Schedule, for the period specified in column (4) of the First

Schedule is prohibited.
