- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 127(1) Akta Perkhidmatan Kewangan 2013 [Akta 758], Bank membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa
Seksyen 2
Kontrak insurans am untuk harta atau liabiliti
(1)
Tiada seorang pun boleh membuat atau menyebabkan untuk dibuat, suatu kontrak insurans am yang berkenaan dengan harta atau liabiliti dengan penanggung insurans selain penanggung insurans am berlesen.
(2)
Bagi maksud subperenggan (1)⎼
(i)
harta, alih atau tak alih, yang terletak di Malaysia; atau
(b)
“liabiliti” ertinya liabiliti seseorang pemastautin di Malaysia kepada pihak ketiga.

FINANCIAL SERVICES (CONTRACT OF GENERAL INSURANCE
FOR PROPERTY OR LIABILITY) ORDER 2013
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 127(1) of the Financial Services Act 2013 [Act 758], the Bank makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Financial Services (Contract of General
Insurance for Property or Liability) Order 2013.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 30 June 2013.
Contract of general insurance for property or liability 2.
(1)
No person shall enter into or cause to be entered into a contract of general insurance in respect of property or liability with an insurer other than a licensed general insurer.
(2)
For purposes of subparagraph (1)⎼
(i)
property, movable or immovable, located in Malaysia; or
(b)
“liability” means the liability of a person resident in Malaysia to a third party.
