  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Courts of Judicature Act 1964 [Act 91] and with the consent of the Chief Justice, the Rules Committee makes the following rules: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These rules may be cited as the Rules of the Federal Court

(Amendment) 2013.

These Rules come into operation on 1 March 2013.

Amendment of rule 46 2.

The Rules of the Federal Court 1995 [P.U. (A) 376/1995], which are referred to as the “principal Rules” in these Rules, are amended in subrule 46(1) by substituting for the word “RM500” the word “RM1000”.

Amendment of rule 56 3.

Subrule 56(1) of the principal Rules is amended by substituting for the word

“RM500” the word “RM1000”.

Amendment of rule 107 4.

Subrule 107(4) of the principal Rules is amended by substituting for the word

“RM500” the word “RM1000”.

Substitution of Second Schedule 5.

The principal Rules are amended by substituting for the Second Schedule the following schedule:
