CUSTOMS ACT 1967

CUSTOMS (PROHIBITION OF IMPORTS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 31(1)

of the

Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Customs (Prohibition of Imports)

(Amendment) Order 2016.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 1 June 2016.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Customs (Prohibition of Import) Order 2012 [P.U. (A) 490/2012], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the

First Schedule in column (2) under the heading “Description of Goods”—

(a)

in relation to subitem 11(6), by substituting for the word

“Bromochlorodifluorothane”

the word

“Bromochlorodifluoromethane”; and

(b)

in relation to subitem 11(7), by substituting for the word “Bromotrifluorothane” the word “Bromotrifluoromethane”.

Amendment of Second Schedule 3.

The Second Schedule to the principal Order is amended—

in Part I, by inserting after item 11 and the particulars relating to it the following item:
