FEDERAL ROADS ACT 1959

FEDERAL ROADS (ALOR PONGSU INTERCHANGE) ORDER 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3

of the

Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State

Government of Perak, makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Alor Pongsu

Interchange) Order 2016.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 7 June 2016.

Declaration of road to be Federal road

2. (1)

That part of the road known as the Alor Pongsu Interchange which is a part of the North South Expressway, commencing at kilometre 182.362 at coordinates

N 155845.497, E -24183.678 of the Rectified Skew Orthomorphic (RSO) Geocentric

(GDM 2000) Grid and ending at kilometre 180.838 at coordinates N 156963.727,

E -25215.209 of the RSO Geocentric (GDM 2000) Grid of the North South Expressway, both distances measured from kilometre 0.0 of the North South Expressway at the Bukit

Kayu Hitam, including the Alor Pongsu Entry/Exit Toll Plaza and its link road and ending at coordinates N 156559.738, E -24306.444 of the RSO Geocentric (GDM 2000)

Grid, is declared to be a Federal road.
