PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 6(1) Akta Zon Bebas 1990 [Akta 438], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

FREE ZONES (EXCLUSION OF GOODS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2020

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 6(1) of the Free Zones Act [Act 438], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Free Zones (Exclusion of Goods)

(Amendment) Order 2020.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 1 January 2021.

Amendment of Schedule 2.

The Free Zones (Exclusion of Goods) Order 1998 [P.U. (A) 459/1998] is amended in the Schedule—

(a)

in relation to item 11, by deleting the full stop at end of the item;

(b)

in relation to item 12, by deleting the full stop at end of the item; and

(c)

by inserting after item 12 the following items:

“13. Cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and similar personal electric vaporising devices, smoking pipes (including pipe bowls) and preparation of a kind used for smoking through electronic cigarettes and electric vaporising device, in form of liquid or gel, not containing nicotine, imported into free zone other than free zone authorized by the Minister under section 6A of the Act for the purposes of re-export
