Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 130(2)(b) of the Education Act 1996 [Act 550], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation 1. These regulations may be cited as the Education (Terms of Educational Institutions Year 2021) (Amendment) Regulations 2021. Amendment of regulation 1

The Education (Terms of Educational Institutions Year 2021) Regulations 2020
[P.U. (A) 223/2020], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these
Regulations, are amended in regulation 1 by substituting for the words “Year 2021” the words “Academic Calendar 2021/2022”.
Amendment of regulation 2

Regulation 2 of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the words
“year 2021” the words “academic calendar 2021/2022”.
Amendment of regulation 3 4.
Regulation 3 of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the words
“year 2021” the words “academic calendar 2021/2022”.

Amendment of Schedule 5.
The Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended—
(a)
in relation to the educational institutions under Group A, by inserting after the item “Second Term” and the particulars relating to it the following item and particulars:
“Third Term
2 January 2022 to 24 February 2022”; and
(b)
in relation to the educational institutions under Group B, by inserting after the item “Second Term” and the particulars relating to it the following item and particulars:
“Third Term
3 January 2022 to 25 February 2022".
