Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Perak, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 14) Order 2023.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 13 October 2023.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan—

(a)

by substituting for item 17 the following item:

“17.

(Route 74): Kuala Sepetang-Taiping Road

Starting from Kuala Sepetang at coordinates N 4.835672,

E 100.627440 and ending in Bandar Taiping at coordinates

N 4.854328, E 100.742676 including its link roads within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 19: KUALA SEPETANG-TAIPING ROAD (a distance of 17.100 km)."; and

by inserting after
