CUSTOMS (PROHIBITION OF IMPORTS) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 31(1) of the Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Customs (Prohibition of Imports)

(Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2023.

This Order comes into operation on 1 January 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Customs (Prohibition of Imports) Order 2023 [P.U. (A) 117/2023], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule, in relation to item 13, in column (2), by substituting for the words

“terbutaline or formoterol” the words “terbutaline, formoterol or polymyxin including polymyxin B and polymyxin E (colistin)”.

Amendment of Second Schedule 3.

The principal Order is amended in the Second Schedule, in Part I, in relation to item 13, by deleting subitem (1) and the particulars relating to it.
