Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 31(1) of the Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Customs (Prohibition of Imports)

(Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2024.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 1 June 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Customs (Prohibition of Imports) Order 2023 [P.U. (A) 117/2023] is amended in the First Schedule by inserting after item 16 and the particulars relating to it the following item and particulars:
