Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Selangor, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 5) Order 2024.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 5 July 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of Negeri Selangor Darul Ehsan—

(a)

by substituting for item 37 the following item:

“37.

(Route 29): Puchong–Kota Warisan

Starting from the end of the Damansara Puchong–Putrajaya and Cyberjaya Highway at coordinates N 2.980217,

E 101.658577 and ending at the junction of Route 32,

Labohan Dagang–Nilai Road at coordinates N 2.805178,

including its link roads within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 13:

PUCHONG–KOTA WARISAN (a distance of 22.902 km).”;
