Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Kastam (Larangan Mengenai

Import) (Pindaan) (No. 3) 2024.

Kecuali subsubperenggan 2(c), Perintah ini disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 3 Januari 2024.

a release letter issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga

For importation into Sarawak:

a Certificate of Approval of gas apparatus;

an import permit; or

a Letter of Exemption or a release letter issued by the Director of Gas Distribution, Sarawak

For importation into Sabah:

That the import is accompanied by—

a Certificate of Approval of gas fitting, gas appliance and gas equipment (Form K); or

a release letter issued by the Energy Commission of Sabah

(ECoS)”

CUSTOMS ACT 1967

CUSTOMS (PROHIBITION OF IMPORTS) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 3) ORDER 2024

This order may be cited as the Customs (Prohibition of Imports)

(Amendment) (No. 3) Order 2024.

Except subsubparagraph 2(c), this Order is deemed to have come into operation on 3 January 2024.

Subsubparagraph 2(c) is deemed to have come into operation on 15 April 2023.

Amendment of Fourth Schedule 2.

The Customs (Prohibition of Imports) Order 2023 [P.U. (A) 117/2023] is amended in the Fourth Schedule in Part II—

in relation to item 3, in column (2)—

by inserting after the words “Electrical apparatus or accessories”

the words “for domestic use or consumer electrical equipment”; and

by deleting the words “for domestic use,”;

in relation to subitem 3(1) to 3(44), in column (5)—

by substituting for the words “certificate of approval or a letter of exemption” the words “Certificate of Approval or a release letter”;
