CUSTOMS (PROHIBITION OF IMPORTS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2024
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 31(1) of the Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Customs (Prohibition of Imports)
(Amendment) Order 2024.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 1 May 2024.
Amendment of Second Schedule 2.
The Customs (Prohibition of Imports) Order 2023 [P.U. (A) 117/2023], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the Second Schedule, in Parts I, II and III, by substituting for the words “Ministry of International Trade and
Industry” wherever appearing the words “Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry”.
Amendment of Fourth Schedule 3.
The principal Order is amended in the Fourth Schedule, in Part I, in relation to item 5, in column (2), by inserting after subitem (3) and the particulars relating to it in column (3) the following subitems and particulars:
